Q is not intended for any children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone who is under 13 years of age. If we become aware that any individual under the age of 13 has provided us with information, we will take steps to remove such information and terminate the child’s account. If you are informed that your child has provided us with information without your consent, please contact us at email@example.com.
Your Party or Registration Information. During the use of Q, you will be will be required to provide us with your contact information and certain other personal information, namely, your first and last name, email address, and mobile telephone number. If you choose to use Q, you agree to: (a) supply the information requested in the Q process, (b) ensure that all the information you supply to us is accurate, and (c) update your personal information. You may choose not to provide us with any registration information. In such an event, you can still access and use some portions of Q; however, you will not be able to access and use portions of Q that require your registration information.
Q in some cases uses location services of mobile devices to know the location of users for providing map services, showing restaurants close to your location. Your personal usage of Q is tracked and you may be provided with statistics including but not limited to how much time you saved using Q, loyalty points, visit frequency, and other.
If you send us e-mails, letters or other personal correspondence, or if other users or third parties send us correspondence about your activities or postings on Q, we may collect such information into a file specific to you.
Q in some instances has a pay for service app requiring a form of payment such as credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Wallet, or other services. Q does not store your payment information. We utilize payment services that stores customer payment information.
We use your information collected when using Q for purposes of executing our services. For example, we may use your information to: place your name on an arrival list for a restaurant that you request, understand you and your preferences to personalize your experience and pleasure using Q, such as understanding your dining history to make recommendations about other restaurants you may want to visit.
When you choose to provide your mobile phone number, we will communicate to you via SMS/Text messages information about your use of Q. By use of the Q, you agree or opt-in to receive recurring text/SMS messages associated with the Q services. Q Service messages may have MULTIPLE MESSAGES sent to you during the course of your Q Service request for retail services. MESSAGE AND DATA RATES MAY APPLY and you are responsible for all fees associated with send or receiving messages related to your use of the Q Waitlist Guest App. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to XXXXX. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. a. If at any time you forget what keywords are supported, just text "HELP" to XXXXX After you send the SMS message "HELP" to us, we will respond with instructions on how to use our service as well as how to unsubscribe. Q Waitlist Guest App follows best practices in message deliver and services, however it cannot guarantee delivery of text/SMS messages. The following is a list of Participating carriers used by Q Waitlist Guest App: AT&T, Boost Mobile, T-Mobile, Metro PCS, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Nextel & Virgin Mobile. Delivery: CARRIERS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DELAYED OR UNDELIVERED MESSAGES. Message Frequency: Text/SMS messages and/or notifications will be received as associated with being on an active waitlist. For example, you may receive messages confirming you are on the list at the restaurant, messages of any changes in wait time, messages if you have missed your check-in time, and messages if you have been removed from the wait list. After your initial use of the Q Waitlist Guest App, from time to time, you may also receive text/SMS messages or notifications related to discounts, coupons, closures, or new retails services utilizing Q in your area. You may also receive text messages or notifications from others in your party confirming they are joining the waitlist with you. During the time your party is on an active waitlist, you should expect to receive one to three text/SMS messages related to your current progress on the waitlist.
We use your information to conduct internal research on our users' demographics, interests, and behavior to better understand and serve our users. We may also prepare and keep statistical records and other data about you and other users of Q. We may hire third parties to help us collect and analyze such data, and we may share such statistical data with third parties.
Your information and aggregate user traffic information is shared with our restaurant partners to advise them on certain user information, including, but not limited to, total user visits on certain days, number of remote Q users compared to walk-up, no-show statistics, user dining preferences including food, beverage, and table selection. This data may also be used to ascertain specific user behaviors or preferences such as how long users typically are seated, and the types of restaurants users most frequently visit. We use this information to help us make Q more useful to users-to learn about the number of visitors to Q, what part of Q they are interested in, how long the users are in Q, and the types of technology our visitors use. By providing your mobile phone number, you expressly consent to receive direct dial calls and text messages at that number from our restaurant partners.
We may use your personal information to send you advertisements, promotions, and notices in relation to our marketing and promotional efforts, and to improve our content and services. We may also use your information to deliver advertisements, new services and promotions, and other information to you that is targeted to your interests. We may also use your information to deliver third-party advertisements and promotions, our new services and promotions, and other information and notices. We may use third-party advertising companies to serve ads on our behalf. These companies may employ cookies and action tags also known as single pixel gifs or web beacons to measure advertising effectiveness. Any information that these third parties collect via cookies and action tags is completely anonymous.
We may use your e-mail address, mailing address, and phone number to contact you regarding administrative notices, new product offerings, and communications relevant to your use of Q. If you do not wish to receive these communications, you may have the ability to opt out of receiving these notices on your account status page.
If you open a credit account with Q, we may use your address and billing information to bill you and provide associated support.
In the event that any of your personal information you may have provided to Q has changed, or should you ever notice a mistake or error with respect to any of your information on Q, you should promptly notify Q at firstname.lastname@example.org and provide the updated or correct information so that we will have current and accurate information about you.
We use practices that are consistent with standards in our industry to protect your privacy. We cannot, however, promise that any of your personally identifiable information or private communications will remain private. For example, third parties may unlawfully intercept or access information, transmissions or private communications on Q. We do not sell or rent any personally identifiable information about you to any third party.
It is the policy of Q to release users’ personal identifying information and any other information when the Company reasonably believes such disclosure is appropriate to comply with applicable law, to enforce any of our contracts or agreements, to protect the rights, property or safety of our users and customers, in response to a governmental authority request or to legal process, or for purposes of fraud protection. We reserve the right to fully cooperate with any law enforcement authorities or court orders requesting or directing us to disclose the identity of anyone posting any content, or publishing or otherwise making available any materials on Q . BY USING Q YOU WAIVE ALL RIGHTS AND AGREE TO HOLD US HARMLESS FROM ANY CLAIMS RESULTING FROM ANY ACTION TAKEN BY US DURING OR AS A RESULT OF ANY INVESTIGATIONS AND/OR FROM ANY ACTIONS TAKEN AS A CONSEQUENCE OF ANY INVESTIGATION BY EITHER US OR LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITIES
We disclose aggregate information about our users to advertisers and for other marketing and promotional purposes. However, we do not disclose any personally identifying information to any of these entities.
If you create a User ID on Q mobile app, you are identified by your User ID throughout Q mobile app. Unless you select a unique User ID, our system automatically sets your User ID as your e-mail address. In this situation, where you are identified on Q by your User ID, you disclose your e-mail address to other users and third parties. As a result, other users and third parties might send you unsolicited e-mail and be able to personally identify all of your activities on Q. Even if your User ID is not your e-mail address, your User ID can be used to identify you and your activities throughout Q. Other people can see your activities on Q, including any of your comments and postings on the site, and so on.
We may use third party suppliers to assist us in providing the services available on Q or an outside website or application. Whenever a third party supplier desires to collect information about you, you will be notified of the involvement of the third party supplier, and you will never be required to disclose any information to the third party supplier.
Because of the nature of the services offered on Q, Q allows you to access other users' contact information. You may use such information only for Q related communications. Q related communication expressly excludes unsolicited commercial messages. Therefore, you must not text, post, upload, link or otherwise use Q in any manner for any commercial purpose or endeavor, including the offering for sale of any products or services, or otherwise engage in any commercial activity on Q for any purpose, including, but not limited to, conducting raffles or contests, displaying sponsorship banners, soliciting goods or services, soliciting funds, advertisers or sponsors. In all cases, you must give users an opportunity to remove themselves from your database and a chance to review what information you have collected about them. In addition, under no circumstances can you disclose personally identifiable information about another user to any third party without our consent and the consent of such other user after adequate disclosure by you to such other user. Note that law enforcement personnel, our commercial program participants, and other rights holders are given different rights with respect to information they access.
The Company does not engage in spam and provides a method to stop or remove your contact information at any time.
We use reasonable measures to maintain the security of your information; however, no company, organization, online community, or mobile application, including Q, can fully eliminate security risks associated with your personal information. We will have no liability to you or to any third-party arising out of any such loss, misuse, destruction, or alternation.
